BECOME A FOSTER PARENT
A foster parent is a legal guardian who provides temporary care to children who have become wards of the state due to child neglect and abuse. A child is placed in foster care until he/she is safely reunited with the original guardian, or is permanently placed in a nuruting, safe environment.                                          

Criteria
Must be over 21 yrs. old
A criminal background check and you will be fingerprinted                              
Health records in compliance according to State regulations
References are required and will be contacted

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers contribute by providing services to Unity Parenting and Counseling Inc.  Our volunteers answer the phones, type, mentor and tutor; provide pro-bono legal services; transportation service, etc. For additional information, or to serve as a volunteer, contact Katie Milton at 773- 908-9696.
